Vantaggi
-Competitive pay, clear career progression path, I know some senior people were once graduates themselves! -Interesting & varied work, a lot of responsibility as a graduate since you're likely the only graduate on your team. Room for creativity & innovation, open to discussion & debates -All the training you could possibly need, sponsored CFA with Kaplan resources, if there are any excel/python classes you can take you just have to ask HR, many workshops and training opportunities provided throughout -Amazing work-life balance, I would say work usually finishes at 6PM -Happy culture, friendly and international people -Nice offices, in the city with great views right next to the station, great canteen food & free tea/coffee machines (would be nice if they added fruit as well) -Prestigious company -International rotations as part of the scheme Overall I'm very happy and hope to stay and further my career here for a long time
Svantaggi
-Tech: would have preferred company laptops being provided to everyone -Chronic bearish view on markets, likely due to the generally conservative nature of the firm, can be frustrating for investment professionals. Divergence of opinions often balance out to 'netural' views. Rewarding performance more than AUM -A lot of the grad scheme induction happens halfway through the scheme. Would have been preferable for the first week to send everyone to geneva to meet and do the whole induction process together and in one go, rather than lots of mini-graduate workshops throughout the year. Same would go for a mini crash course on the industry and markets. -HR is somewhat disorganised with the rotation plans, onboarding process could be more fluid
