Being sick is not enough justification not to work - Recensione dipendente - Operations presso Pictet

Bad habit from some managers to force you to work remotely when you’re sick. If you don’t work, you get blackmailed about the possibility to work remotely. For example, you have 13 days of potential work from home but if you are sick 7 days then you will only be allowed 5 days to work from home. This rule does not apply if you are on holidays !!! Even worst, when asked about what sickness would justify not working when sick at home, a manager responded only cancer would justify!!! They need to be reminded that working while being sick is illegal but Pictet doesn’t care. Should be reported to Inspection du Travail. The people who say that they care about the staff isn’t really true. Some managers should clearly be reminded laws and take management trainings!
