PlanSource provides for a great work-life balance. While the industry demands more work during peak times of the year, these are offset by flexible schedules, the ability to work from home and support by the management team. There has been alot of investment in growing the business the last 12-18 months and it is showing in product development, marketing and overall growth of the company. PlanSource provides many perks to their employees including office snacks, company paid parking or commuter benefits, monthly office celebrations and philanthropic community activities to name just a few. Career advancement is an option for anyone who is willing to put in the effort. I have enjoyed working for PlanSource for quite some time and they have afforded me the opportunity to grow my career from an entry level position to management.

Change is constant, but this generally produces healthy challenges that question the status quo and keep the company current. With Health Care Reform and all, how does a company like PlanSource avoid change anyways? Bottom line, if you don't like change, this may not be the industry for you.

Remote or Hybrid work schedule, if you live outside of the city limits. Unlimited PTO policy, but is PTO ever unlimited.

There is not much room for advancement, if you’re not connected. Most of middle management and above are not POC. All the strong POC leaders were here today, gone the next day! The staff is overworked and underpaid. Only way to receive a higher salary is to resign and reapply. I survived a few CEOs, and once this last one came in all the tenured staff were being let go. Normal, if a new Executive comes in but there people were 15+ years in. This new PlanSource does not seem as if it cares much for their employees. Most of the workload is being outsourced to India. I’ve seen good, hardworking dedicate people get axed during my time! Not sure they’re invested in retaining good talent! Definitely a swim or sink culture, You will not get much help with learning the Benefits Admin system. It’s sort of a self-guided dive in approach.
