Well if you believe they are actually a philanthropic organization, you may feel good about what you are doing. However, you will rarely, if ever, hear as a staff person what is actually being done to help others....mostly its about how much $ they are bringing in.

There are so many cons!!!!! I was over-worked and under-appreciated. The entire staff was miserable and had no problem expressing their frustration and distain from day one. Management was ineffective and unavailable. The turn-over rate was extremely high and everyone was disposable. I have worked with numerous non-profits and was excited about the opportunity to contribute globally, however I quickly realized their methods and philanthropic attitude were questionable at best. I will never support their organization again and have encouraged others to find a "real" non-profit with real values to donate their used items. I can't stress enough - STAY AWAY!!!!!
