Worked for the company as a "Contract" employee for 8 years. To get around the laws of California they would "lay me off" for a few months then have me back so they didn't have to pay for my benefits. I loved what I did but management refused to give reviews, pay raises or hire me on full-time even though the position was available and I had received a Masters Degree in the same field. That all isn't the worst. The worst was after 8 years they "ghosted" me. Basically, they told me they were going to lay me off for a few months, then when I contacted them repeatedly for when my start date was...NO RESPONSE. I thought these people were my friends ...The biggest slap in the face was my job was posted on their website 3 weeks later. ....Thanks Sony San Diego!
