Vantaggi
There's a lot of room for growth in the San Antonio market unlike the stagnant florida market which is crowded and makes the line of progression slow. There is also the pro of being able to make quarterly bonus up to 1000 as a shift manager in addition to a better base wage. The staff if mostly friendly and it's a fresh new concept if you can take it by the horns and ride it.
Svantaggi
The place is always dirty, being that I came up with the company as a regular hourly, I feel there isn't enough proactivity from upper manager to get the store in good shape. Equipment is constantly breaking and takes forever to get fix, and the cause of these breakdowns is usually due to lack of maitenence from hourly employees such as changing fry oil, cleaning the steamers, or even cleaning the hot wells. The kitchens in texas are tiny and are hardly workable for the amount of food produced. I could write a book on all this companies problems but by far the biggest issue is pay. I bend over backwards to try to keep the place clean and running, but it's and uphill battle all the time, and I feel 10 bones doesn't cut it, especially when I'm not making bonus because of the condition of operations. At the moment, I'm looking for another job, these sorry outsourced over payed lazy managers are running this place into the ground, and frankly, nobody is holding them accountable either, so screw it. Lastly, if you are considering a job here, don't the pay for hourly employees is pitiful, and for the amount of work that is pushed on to selective people due to staffing issues is sure to drive you out if the management doesn't beforehand.
