I've worked for several management companies where it felt you were just a number and no one cared if you showed up or not. Portico is just different, they care about you as a person and an employee. I honestly feel I could pick up the phone and call anyone in the company and they would drop everything to help me. Also, they work really hard to make sure it's a fun day to day environment and that everyone's voice is heard.

Not many since PTO policy changes and micromanaging. benefits are the same or worse as other property management companies.

They just changed PTO policy, they don't have sick days so you had to use PTO and now you can't use PTO to call in sick, you can now only call in if you have jury duty, a family member dies, or you have to be in the hospital or do FMLA. So if you are sick you have to pay to go to the hospital, they will not even take a doctor's note now or you just have to show up sick to work but regionals and corporate get unlimited PTO. If you have a child do not work here they will not excuse your absence to take care of them if they get sick unless they die.
