Vantaggi
- Enthusiastic employees that really know their stuff. They work hard and play hard.
- Maintaining company culture is huge!! I love this. We are proud of who we are and who we're becoming.
- A ridiculous amount of transparency across all departments. It is easy to ask anyone, anything. We have direct line of communication to everyone.
- The perks! Laptops, Gym Pass, Food/Drink Selection available at the office, a playroom, beanbags, exercise balls, etc. It rocks.
- The company allows me to guide myself. If I feel something is right/wrong, I can immediately do something in fix the situation. I am so happy to work for a company that doesn't let only profits guide them... they'd rather allow a good, strong moral compass guide their employees. Also, I am not micromanaged. It's awesome.
- Ideas are listened to. During my second interview, I was asked - what don't you like. By my third week, we implemented a strategy fixing that.
- Chance to grow and succeed. If you do well, you can easily grow within the company.
- It's actually looked down upon not to take vacation. This is a very odd concept for me... but man, it's nice that my employer recognizes that I also have a life. I can also work remotely when I want. Essentially, they treat me like an adult.
Svantaggi
- Sometimes there are some growing pains, but I don't know any start-up that hasn't had these.
- While there's a ton of transparency (if you ask, you will get a true, honest answer) sometimes there is a lack of clear communication between different branches
