Vantaggi
The staff team are great
Svantaggi
This company is completely outdated, stuck in the 1970s, and incapable of retaining good managers due to the directors’ lack of leadership and personability. The wife, one of the directors, constantly belittles her husband in front of staff, so you can only imagine how she treats others. Their service manager, Gavin, is arrogant and pretends to know everything while contributing very little. Most of the staff are older individuals who show little warmth toward the children, making it clear that this company prioritizes profit over both staff and the young people in their care. If you’re passionate about making a real difference in children's lives, this is not the place for you. They struggle to hire and retain employees, leading them to promote the least qualified staff out of sheer desperation. Work-life balance is nonexistent—they expect complete devotion, minimal pay, and even refuse to compensate for on-call shifts. If you value your time, energy, and professional integrity, look elsewhere. There are far better companies in this field that actually care about their staff and the children they support. Save yourself the trouble, you're better off working at Aldi!
