Hello, Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback on your unique POV at Powerback. We're incredibly sorry to hear that you have had a less than stellar experience with us, and would like to provide some clarity to help you understand our policies and procedures regarding productivity and compensation. Productivity rates are used to help us ensure that the care we provide aligns with our ongoing commitment to outstanding clinical quality. We utilize the Triple AIM approach to focus on improving patient outcomes and experience in an efficient manner. That being said, if you have concerns about productivity rates within your role, your manager is an excellent resource who can help you express any further concerns beyond your immediate team. Thanks to staff feedback, in February 2025, our HR team announced that annual performance reviews will now be tied to potential merit increases based on individual performance and overall eligibility, taking into account prior year rate increases. We're thrilled to share that Powerback full-time staff AND part-time staff are eligible, again, depending on individual performance and overall eligibility. If you'd like more information on this new process, please reach out to your appointed HR representative– they'd be happy to help point you to the best path to help you best understand the guidelines for this new procedural change. We're committed to creating a work environment that allows every Powerback team member to thrive at all levels of care, and we hope that these shared resources and responses help clarify the rationale behind our policies. However, we know that a simple review response may not answer all of your questions or address all of your concerns. We would like to encourage you to share any additional thoughts, ideas, and feedback with our team during one of our companywide national open office hour meetings each Monday morning/afternoon. Many of the best ideas to improve Powerback come directly from staff like you, and we'd love to hear your thoughts from your unique POV. Fifteen years ago, I joined this Rehabilitation company looking for more than just a job-I was looking for a place where I could make a meaningful difference. What I found was an organization whose mission aligned with my own values; helping people regain confidence, independence, dignity, and hope, during some of the most challenging times in their lives. From my very first day, I realized this was more than a workplace. It was a community of compassionate professionals united by a common purpose-supporting and guiding patients to achieve goals that they may have thought were out of reach. Whether it is assisting someone in taking their first steps after surgery, helping a patient return home safely and independently after an illness, or simply regain a lost skill, these moments continually remind me why our work matters so much and reinforces my commitment to this profession and especially to this organization which continually encourages me and empowers me to challenge myself and expand my capabilities. What has kept me here for the past 15 years, is not just the opportunity to build this career, but the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself.
