Vantaggi
Generally, the people in the office that you work with were great to work with. Although, most were not that experienced in the world of advertising and had little to no agency background.
Svantaggi
Extremely long hours. Unrewarding work. Completely account-driven, revenue-driven agency. Creative quality was not a concern. It was more of a how much work can we crank out of these people before they get burned out and leave. There was always talk of "change" but nothing was ever done about it. The problem with powerpact is that unless you are a principle, there is really no motivation. The principles only care about making money...and to them the more money they make the better because they are the ones profiting. They would rather take crappy jobs that no other agency wants just to make a buck. The people who are actually doing most of the work, are not profiting from the long hours and creative sacrifices. upper management has no clue what is going on in that agency. I would say the Group Creative Directors have a clue but are powerless to the owners of the company and their whims. let me add that most of the upper management has NO experience in any other advertising agency. it is complete chaos at that place.
