Not sure why my original review was never approved but here we go again -- You are promised a lot of training and development however you are little to no direction or context on tasks. For example, being allowed only 1 billable hr for a task that will take an entry level individual 3 hrs. As a result, there is no work life balance since you can only count the 1 hr towards the 40hr weekly minimum. Time traveling to client meetings or answering emails is not included either. Very poor compensation and benefits. Their "development" program for employees is a waste of time and does not facilitate engaging or useful conversations. It is strict repetition of the company values mixed with inappropriate personal stories from the leader who is in a relationship with the partner.

Thank you for sharing your experience on how it occurred for you. Unfortunately, it did not work out. Working at a public accounting firm like Prado & Renteria is not for everyone. There are several learning styles and we understand an entry level employee would be new to certain training modalities. Related to your comments, we find the most valuable training comes from on-the-job. We continuously strive to enhance our training program which does consist of on-the-job, conferences, webinars and classroom training. Our Human Resource department is continuously assessing our compensation structure and acknowledging our team members' contributions. In addition, Prado & Renteria is committed to holistic growth and development opportunities for our team in the form of coaching and mentoring. Thank you for taking the time to share.
