Overall I was dopped into this job. I came in needing a full time job and they were there and it was easy to get it. They promise you you’ll own your office, you’ll have the ability to create your own schedule, and you’ll make loads of money, but only if you’ll willing to give up all your time and energy and free thinking. They tell you you’ll be working 5 days a week and you’ll be work around 40 hours, but really you’ll be working 6 days straight or more and possibly 12 hour days. It’s also a sales job. Door to door to be exact. They’ll tell you it’s promotion but really they teach shady tactics to get people to buy things. If you don’t meet the “standard” it’s your fault and your fault alone because you didn’t use their strategies correctly and they’ll chew you out for it. And I hope you like driving because you can spend up to an hour or and hour and a half driving to the city and neighborhood you’ll be working. Sure they’ll say they will compensate for gas and travel but TRUST ME they don’t. Oh by the way if you’re. Team leader, you drive your team and make sure to drop them off at their locations. And everything they tell you is scripted and they’ll tell you they are transparent about everything and being honest but they’re actually not. They run around questions with half answers and follow up with asking you a question to throw you off. This job took a huge toll on my mental and physical health and they really didn’t care because it was “my fault” because I wasn’t taking care of myself when I would work from 7-8:30 most days and wouldn’t get home until close to 10. I barely had any rest and time for myself or family/friends. Did I make decent money the time I was there? Yes If you’re a “sales beast”. But it cost me so much more In the end. “Time now for time later” it’s a lie. You lose time now with no actual guarantee of it. Research before you interview or take the job. Learn from my mistakes. Also once you quit the most of the “friends” you make will stop talking to you because you got a brain and didn’t want to be part of this economically cult.
