Everyone here understands that you are a human with a life outside of work. Management ACTIVELY participates in making the office feel comfortable and supportive for everyone. Not only that, but they really do care about the clients. On multiple occosions the owners would take time from their day to take flowers or treats to a client, or show up to a claim with the adjuster to make sure the client is truly reaping the benefits of their policies and are being accurately represented. I was sad to leave, but incredibly grateful for my time spent with PGI.

Benefits could be better for what it is. This is the kind of job where you get out what you put in for the most part.

PGI has given me everything I could ever want in terms of mentorship, supportive management, opportunities for advancement, growth in my industry, and professional development. If you are truly driven there is limitless potential for success with this company (in my experience), but you have to work HARD and challenge yourself constantly to realize it. PGI provides a dynamic, high volume, rapidly growing environment that demands independence, adaptability, discipline, and an enormous amount of self reliance. If your strengths are well suited to stick it out, you will thrive under the guidance and leadership of the most intelligent, experienced, and innovative insurance professionals on earth.

With many strengths there are still weaknesses. There is so much focus on the expansion of the company (it is growing exponentially), that the people trying to keep up with it are often overlooked and undervalued. There is praise for the team, nice words, but little substance to prove sincerity. Some things are promised and never fulfilled. Benefits are seriously limited for what you would expect in the industry. There are some basic improvements being made, but the incredibly high turnover of late is telling. The pay is low relative to workload and expectations, not to mention the overall cost of living in Colorado. There is virtually no team building, and employee appreciation gestures/incentives are few and far between. For a company that takes pride in being so much more, PGI needs to extend that mentality to its own people.
