The only pro with working for Premier is the people you work with. It is a young environment and you do meet some great like minded people. LIke minded in that everyone hates the company and ridiculous KPIs set by management.

KPIs - you are expected to spend over 3hours each day on the phone and make over 100 dials. On top of that you are expected to pull 5 vacancies a week, send 15 CVs, book 5 interviews and make 3 placements a month. Don't forget you have to add to the database with 15 companies and 30 contacts a week. These KPIs make your job almost impossible and the hours horrendous. 8am (7:45am really, try coming in later) to 7pm. Try taking a full hour for your lunch or even taking it out of the office and you are made to feel bad. All this company cares about is money and that is to the detrament of the company and it's staff, hence the high turnover. I worked in the Manchester office and not one single member of staff is still there a year later. Everyone has left for other companies which are more of a consultative approach to recruitment. Not just finding a CV on a jobsite and mailing it to as many companies in the area as possible. The high turnover of staff has resulted in Rec2Recs washing their hands of Premier, hence the internal recruiters they have hired. If you think you have a chance of qualifying for an incentive behave yourself, they are reserved for a select group of around 5 consultants who have put up with the nonsense the longest and are earning good commission so can't leave, otherwise they would.

We are glad that you enjoyed working with like minded people at Premier ; we strongly disagree with your statement "everyone hates the company" - our retention so far this year has greatly outstripped the industry average and we have grown by 30 heads year to date. Our senior team is made up of 35% of the business which has been with the company for a minimum of 2 years and our management team has been with the business for 27 years between them! Manchester is a great success story for the business currently and they have seen a superb increase on results so far this year. As someone brand new to recruitment we do set KPI's for people to work towards as a base line. It is important for anyone when they first start in the industry to have these (we note your experience is less than one year). When we look at the key traits of our top performers in the business they are hitting these targets consistently on a weekly basis - so to be the best, why would people not look to emulate and copy this? Our working hours are 8.30am - 6.30pm - this is not hidden from anyone at interview stage or when they are seeking work with the company, I hope it is no surprise that for people who want to earn six figures salaries with 3 years of experience in any role (of which we have many examples) will have to work hard to achieve these levels. We make no secret of the fact working for Premier is about being the best, if you would like a 9-5 and to earn £30k a year then it would be apparent we weren't the right business for you. 55% of our hires this year have come through our Rec 2 Rec network and 45% has come through our internal recruitment team, again I am unsure where you have got your information from but this is factually inaccurate. Our incentives are open to all staff who achieve results in the business - all of our top performers regularly qualify for the huge number of incentives we offer (please view our website to see the photos where there are a lot more than 5 people in attendance) Unfortunately due to the nature of a sales role we cannot send employees who do not generate results. It is a shame that you think we would write our own reviews on this page, we have grown every year for the last 15 years due to the quality of people we have in the business who perform and generate results for the organisation. I can't speak for other locations, but with the Raleigh team I've been given all the opportunities to succeed as well as the autonomy and respect needed to do my job comfortably. If you're a recruiter and want a job where you run your own desk, Premier Group is the best opportunity I've had.
