Vantaggi
There are still some great people left who truly care about helping students with needs.
Svantaggi
My tenure at Presence, unfortunately, turned out to be a story of unmet expectations and unfulfilled promises. The company projected an image of innovation and opportunity, but the reality was quite different. From the get-go, the onboarding process was disjointed, leaving me feeling more lost than welcomed. The lack of a structured induction program had me figuring out the ropes on my own, which was less than ideal. The collaboration between different teams left much to be desired. Siloed operations led to frequent overlaps and miscommunications, hindering our efficiency. Instead of functioning as a well-oiled machine, we often felt like a band of mismatched parts. In terms of training and upskilling, Presence seemed to fall short. The company touted a culture of learning and development, but in practice, there was a noticeable lack of substantial training programs. This made it difficult to stay abreast with industry trends and advancements. I was also disheartened by the company's approach to feedback. Constructive criticisms and suggestions for improvements, instead of being welcomed, were often met with resistance. This rigid mindset hindered innovation and limited our potential to grow and improve.
