When they hired me, I was working for another tech company making similar money. I was told I’d be making $8k–10K per quarter in commissions. First check? Not even $500 and that was the highest on my team! Apparently, the actual plan is “make it up as we go.” They’ll slap on surprise rules and stipulations, and suddenly your commission is gone. And since commissions are only paid after the client pays, good luck seeing any of it before you’re “randomly” let go. But hey, at least the base salary is safe, right? Not so fast. I personally saw two people not even get the salary listed in their contracts. When asked, the CEO responded with all the grace and professionalism of a brick through a window. Speaking of the CEO, what a gem. Dismissive and argumentative, truly the pinnacle of respect and leadership. If only he appreciated your unique talent as much as he appreciates random firings and insults. "You f***ing donkey" — the sweet sound of motivation. If you're into public shaming and daily threats of termination, you'll feel right at home. Management style is best described as “inspirational yelling.” Other leaders might step in, but they’re either just as bad or too busy clinging to their own jobs to bother, so best of luck. Everyone quits on payday with no notice because leadership has a habit of “thanking” your two weeks’ notice by firing you early and withholding your check. Classic move. Let's not forget the office culture, where name calling and threats of termination are the daily special. Forget team building exercises; trauma bonding over mutual hatred for leadership is where it's at. The cherry on top? Glowing Glassdoor reviews from Texas City, where no one at the company works. Definitely legit. I’m fully expecting the CEO to rage-reply to this like he has on every other honest review. Go ahead, I’m not coming back, and I’m not scared to say what everyone else is thinking. Don't know how he will reply considering I left on my own terms, he begged me to return, and was giving other members of leadership specific instruction to hire more people like me.
