when I first started, after a few days my boss decided he was gonna take a weeks holiday, left me with no work, no training, nothing. Massive communication barrier with a foreign girl who they then asked to train me a few days later. Accent was strong and she had a tiny little voice that could never get my attention which caused problems and she was constantly running to the boss behind my back with any little problem she found instead of talking to me like an adult about it. They had me doing things like empty and fill up the dishwasher with all their dirty pots...hello? I am not a cleaner!! As I was the new guy, if I brought anything up that I wasn't happy with, I was made out to be "the problem". On my first day, they gave me a pc that did not work, I asked for a replacement and their exact words were "your IT, you need to fix it". This was a hardware fault, it was my first day and I didn't know what resources we had or who to get them off; not a great first day. The work was tedious and the people were pretentious, at the end of the day we work on a helpdesk...We've all failed life, yet they thought they were some world class analysts and proceeded to look down on others and talk behind each others backs. I used to go home after work and laugh about it with my partner. Little off subject but wanted to go into detail. Overall, worst job I've had and trust me I've worked some crappy positions in my life and this was soul destroying.
