Probrand has been through some significant changes over the past two years and with this has come some challenges, which all businesses face. It is very disappointing to see such negative reviews from former employees who obviously felt that they couldn’t address any issues or concerns they had whilst still in employment. It is very easy to have an anonymous viewpoint, it is a lot harder to face issues and work in collaboration with a business to resolve them. Looking at the length of time former employees had been working here, it is difficult to understand that it was really such an awful place to work. Would you really stay in a business for 8 years plus if it was really that bad? I really enjoy my job within the business, but do recognise that the last 2 years have been a trying time with so many changes, such as new management but it is clear now having taken this journey that this has been for the better. I am able to work flexibly in my job and am grateful to my manager for supporting this to help with my work life/family balance.

Holidays are above the statutory minimum however it would be nice to have this increased slightly to match some of our competitors. We can buy additional days through a holiday trading scheme but anything extra is always a bonus. It would be good to have a bit more interaction with staff at our other Birmingham office, the recent table tennis tournament has been a great way to spend more time with colleagues I wouldn’t usually see on a day to basis. There are a lot of social events going on but it would be nice to see some more charity events or have an opportunity for volunteer days.
