Vantaggi

Well, there are some good people there, but they tend to leave quickly

Svantaggi

Where to start: - Be aware that this company was funded by a few people who have their own “inner circle” of protected and privileged ones (even if they are unable to do their job properly) - The recent shift of management has brought unwelcomed changes: people are much more controlled and micro-managed; there is more pressure on KPIs (one of the few good things until some months ago were the reasonable KPIs) and commission structure has changed in order to privilege people in the top management One example is from this difficult times caused by the virus: due to the fact they do not trust people working from home, they are now checking them every two hours and instead of trying to ease the stress and the pressure, they are asking people to increase hours on the phone and pressing candidates and companies more (is this a company who cares about people?) - There are some people, particularly those in good with the management (without any merits apart from g binge drinking with them), which are always receiving benefits, as for example being included in incentives trips even without reaching targets and get randomly promoted as well - They spend an awful lot of money in parties, but if you ask a laptop for working from home due to COVID, they don’t have the budget (ridiculous) - Some people in the middle management think they can manipulate people with their useless speeches about how much they care about your career progression, when they are just thinking about how much money they will gain at the end of the quarter (and honestly people are smarter than you think, stop believe you can manipulate them) - Client service managing is giving the fault of their mistake or unsuccess to their, when it’s pretty clear that they don’t have the expertise to manage the client - Team leads are the worst. They obtained this job title thanks to the effort made by their resourcers (often more experienced and more capable than them) or, even worse, talking them down in front of the management and giving them the worst positions There have been a few cases of bullying there, e.g. management (HR!!)laughing on how new entries are dressing or behaving I would never go back, even if desperate, so be careful during interview, when they are trying to present them as good as they can!

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your experience with Proclinical. We are disappointed to hear that your perception of the business and your colleagues is of this nature. I would like to address some of your comments as we feel that some of them are unfounded and misleading. Proclinical is well known in the industry as a company that has never been ‘an aggressive KPI driven business'. Our KPIs have remained the same for many years, 15 in total and are regarded as low for industry standards. Our commission structure adapts and evolves with the business every year, as it does most recruitment agencies and if you have been with the business for more than one year, you will be aware of this. As we continue to grow as a business, with 16 offices globally, this is completely normal and necessary for many reasons. If anyone is reading this and has concerns then I would welcome them to approach our TA team to review the schemes and judge as we benchmark annually and we believe it to be strong for the industry. During these challenging and unprecedented times, we are proud of how we quickly and efficiently set up all 215 of our employees to work remotely across the globe, providing company laptops and equipment where possible and across all 16 offices. With the on-set of Covid, our first concern was about the safety of our employees and given that 60% of the company uses desktops and the lead time for our supplier (Dell) is a month at time of writing this response, we asked everyone that could use a home laptop to do so for assistance, so people could keep working from home where they would be safe. This isn’t to do with money or investment in the slightest, just speed and safety. Managers have been keeping in touch with their team members regularly over the past 2 weeks but this is to ensure they have the necessary support and tools to do their job effectively whilst we work remotely. We are keen to ensure that all staff also have adequate support mentally at an extremely uncertain time like this. Some staff are very new to recruitment and need more development and assistance so contact levels depend on the employee. Any employee that attends company incentives or are promoted are done so within the strict parameters of our consistent reward and recognition schemes. The management team work hard to ensure that each incentive is organised fairly and consistently. The comments you make around ‘bullying’ are concerning. I would be keen to better understand your thoughts and feelings shared here through direct feedback, so please feel free to out to reach out to me directly on j.kinsella@proclinical.com.

Great place to work as a contractor. Pay was fair, benefits offered to contract employees are great. Any time I had an issue or concern, my recruiter, and other staff that assisted me was attentive, responsive and extremely helpful.

Svantaggi

None that I can think of.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re glad to hear that you found the company to be a strong place to begin your career and that you enjoyed our PTO offerings. Career development and wellbeing are both areas we are committed to for our employees, so it’s great to know these made a positive impact during your time here. We’re also grateful for your honesty about the challenges. Recruitment can at times feel fast-paced and high‑volume. Whilst we encourage in-person meetings with candidates and clients, this is not always possible and therefore a lot of our day to day activities are phone based. Being able to connect with candidates and clients over the phone is a fundamental part of the recruitment process. That being said, we are continually looking for ways we can improve our working environment and have taken your feedback on board. We appreciate your contributions while you were with us and wish you all the best in your next steps.
