- Company mission is to prevent burnout and that extends to several different aspects of the strategy, day-to-day tasks, and work-life balance. - Good pay and great benefits. - Remote first - can work from anywhere you feel most comfortable. - CEO is mostly transparent and forthcoming with information. - Company has an anonymous feedback channel that they take seriously. - Culture Club is active and brings many new ideas to the table on how to keep remote employees connected, keep the community growing, and support the inclusivity of the communities that make up the company. Really a top notch group!

Svantaggi

- CEO is uninspiring - CRO focuses so much on what a company should do in an ideal dream world that the real world and how a company should act, respond, and care for their employees is commonly and actively fought against or an afterthought. Routinely, apologies follow. - Communication and enthusiasm within teams is great. Between teams is a struggle - cases of "us" vs "them" is common.

Job is fully remote so you don't see people as often. People are also in different time zones so your work hours are not always your typical 9-5.

- "Preventing Burnout" is a motivating mission. - PTO is unlimited, and management actively encourages you to take it. - Fully remote *before* the pandemic: from the beginning, ProdPerfect believed in sourcing talent from anywhere, and letting them work on their own terms. - Dynamic: departments don't limit where you can contribute. - I've seen requests from employees at all levels translate to thoughtful action with demonstrable results. For example, recent conversations about how we justify salaries led to an industry benchmarking exercise, with individuals' salary and equity compensation increased when appropriate (no one adjusted down).

Svantaggi

- Growth has come in fits and starts. We have had a couple rounds of layoffs, partly because of the pandemic, but partly because we hired too aggressively in periods of growth. Could have been avoided. - Day-to-day operations can feel chaotic. Lots of systems are built out of quick fixes on top of patches on top of hacks. It's par for the course in startups, but it would be nice to have a bit more operational discipline, a bit less frenetic decision-making.
