The parents and co-workers were amazing. I got along with the owner and the administrative staff most of the time, and I enjoyed being able to control and have ownership of my own room.

My experience is clearly not a common one. The owner and some of the administrative staff are not well liked by the majority of the staff. The turnover rate is unbelievably high. In a staff of about 20 people, maybe 4 or 5 stayed at the end of each school year. I have seen parents leave the center and go elsewhere purely based on how unbending and abrasive the owner and her front desk staff are. There is no organization for new hires, continual training, paperwork, or teacher placement. The owner will hire someone for a room and place them in 4 other rooms and will say they never hired for the original room in the first place. The workers are constantly stressed, and the classrooms are almost always at max capacity with little or no relief. The teachers barely ever get breaks (including restroom breaks).

The children were the ONLY reason why many of us stayed...

I was there for 6+ yrs..my coworkers were amazing and of course the kids! Management was HORRIBLE! She was so rude and cold hearted to people. All she cared about was her business and the amount of money that came in. Even the parents talked about how horrible she was but only stayed for the teachers. There is an extremely high turnover rate which is not good for the kids. Prek teachers are mostly consistent but all the others are not. The pay is horrible and they hardly ever give you a raise...they make you do so much extra work that is there job. Not a regular employee. They have no benefits and no insurance and will keep you part time to avoid having to help pay for anything. There were times when you would get paid on Friday and they would attach a note and ask you to not cash it until Tuesday because they had NO money. Management is beyond horrible. They lie and could careless about their staff or their staffs children. The more money they get from the parents the better....so horrible and unfair there. I DO NOT recommend it. Also do not try to obtain your CDA there because they lie to you, take your money and rip you off and you NEVER will complete it or receive it!
