Lots of work outside of office and in the field- not all office work. Great benefits competitively priced including health, dental, vision, life insurance. matching 401K, and matching health care savings. Option for LegalShield attorney and ID monitoring. Company very open in annual reports on company progress.

A staffing agency with no HR Department. Must not be important. Leadership training? No HR Department. Management training? No HR Department, Feedback training? No HR Department. Employee retention - must not be important, no HR Dept. Our team was never communicated any specific goals to shoot for together, so there was no sense of teamwork or cohesion. The bottom line for everything seemed to be motivated by money and money alone. I cringed when I was told to charge double for a service and not communicate it directly to the client other than in writing which easily was overlooked. Money is the culture. Authoritarianism was the demand. No feedback from direct reports was considered. Your feedback was always wrong and never considered. Career planning? For top managers only, direct reports - no way. It seemed that the top managers were only about their own promotions and everyone else was in their way to the top. So the managers were not very nice to you. This created an atmosphere of fear and not feeling like you could talk openly with your manager. The managers who were promoted were the workers who were good at their current job, not necessarily good management material. Murphy's law. A foundation of trust - never established at the beginning of job with manager or those above her or below her. One way - the only way it's done. Leadership very close-minded to ideas outside of theirs with no explanation provided. It is just done that way. Too much reliance on written communication - not enough personal contact. Managers were close-minded and territorial. Recognition and reward programs. One lame contest that was rewarded with a gift card that never arrived. No open communication with team to facilitate the reward. Authoritarian managerial style- no feedback considered from direct hires You know your boss doesn't like you when a colleague asks you what you did to the boss. Issue felt personal. Not solvable. Work was never delegated or explained in depth. Just do your job. Don't ask questions. Feedback was usually once a year at the annual review. Destructive feedback given spontaneously. No training for the manager on the timing of feedback, location, and cooperative demeanor needed. Not much positivity given. Lot's of disappointed managers, that is all. Feedback from direct hires on real market conditions not considered. No idea given to goals of individuals and team other than financial. No connection to so-called"company culture." Most objectives given by accounting department.

Favoritism was highly apparent within the organization. Employees who were not part of the favored group were often overlooked, and there appeared to be significant pay disparities. Work-life balance was minimal, opportunities for growth were unevenly distributed, and contributions frequently went unrecognized. There was a lack of equitable treatment and career development opportunities.
