Vantaggi
Best culture I have experienced in healthcare. Management is there to encourage you and help you grow. Very professional. Many there to reach out and lend you a hand if you get in a bind. Everyone is friendly and non judgemental. I want to say that management is supportive, but that would not be enough... ALL of the employees are team members and are supportive. There's nothing shady about this place, we all do what is right. There's not any scapegoating like I've experienced many other places, everyone takes responsibility and if the wrong move was made, assistance is provided to help you make the right one. You are treated like you have value because PCM values you. When you run into a situation where you are not sure what to do, your fellow team members including managers will help figure it out. PCM also offers compensation and encourages growth for the benefit of clients both old and new. Growth also benefits team members, the company and society as a whole. Last but not least, there is nothing better that helping these brave people who have disabilities do to their efforts to keep us all safe. The stories they share of their lives and joys bring tears to your eyes and the excitement of their animated journey through life. I look forward to each visit and for each time I can make their lives a little better. This is not just a job that you are only there for an assessment and communication to all the medical professional, this is so much more than that. There's so much more to say, like you set your own schedule, get paid travel time, the list goes on!
Svantaggi
If money is the only thing you care about, this is probably not a job for you. The compensation is adequate and is better than many other places.
