Profiles is a wonderful place. Especially when your new because they throw you in a office the size of a small walk in closet and forget you are there for a few months. They make awful hiring decisions ( from what I see so far) but that's a pro if you have half a brain because you will quickly bypass your peers.

The biggest con is the tyrant unresponsive leadership..... There is a huge power struggle in our department in fact I don't think anyone agrees on anything. Most the staff is disengaged but there are ones that seem to get special treatment. I was asked by management to write something on this site about profiles so here you go.

I am a proud Strategic Business Partner and have been for some time now. The company offers incredible products backed with great service. Profiles has allowed me to not only start my own business easily, but to thrive. Not all of this is because of Profiles, I made it happen. This is key, I had to put in the work just like anyone else looking to start their own business or expand their product offerings. Profiles is there to help and their 1st class solutions make it easier. They have been nothing but upfront and honest with me from day one.

The company does maintain a direct sales force, which may seem odd at first, but rarely have I run into competitive situations with them as they target markets that are beyond the typical business partner. However, this does lead to some tension and reticence amongst the partners. One good thing about their direct department is that their expanding marketing efforts have a cascading effect, allowing me to piggy back on these efforts. I do wish they would ramp up marketing resources specifically for partner use.
