the families I worked with were absolutely amazing and made it worth it to tolerate the rest!

Absolutely unreasonable expectations, supervisors are unnecessarily mean, and you will never get it right, no matter what you do. You will be criticized for talking to coworkers. You will question your sanity at times. Insane micromanagement but also somehow no help with anything at the same time. The work itself was an absolute joy, but do yourself and your mental health a favor and find another organization to be a home visitor out of— it's not worth it
