The Executive Director is insane. Yells at people, is fully horrible and rude to employees and anyone she reaches out to. Organization manipulates employees and will do anything for the donors - not the children - the donors. Leadership sucks up to donors and overpromises on unrealistic expectations, then badgers employees to follow through on impossible or ridiculous asks that ultimately do not benefit the mission of the organization or the children. Children are exploited and used as performative puppets during fundraisers - they're asked to paint portraits of donors and guests with no compensation and often are not even guaranteed travel to and from said events. Leadership refuses to hear the opinions of other employees about how to be more socially aware or how to better raise funds for the organization. Ultimately leadership is willing to treat employees like garbage, is completely socially unaware, essentially contradict the entire "mission" of the organization, all to pander to the whims and fantasies of rich people who help "further" the organization. Leadership also cares much more about national expansion than actually making the programs they already run better in quality. Also they pay you very little because they "can't afford" to pay you any more. But as soon as someone who maybe, say, has a famous artist for a father, wants to start working for the organization, they are paid way more than everyone else.
