Vantaggi
Usually people are quite weary of working in recruitment due to how aggressive the industry is, however Projectus is the complete opposite to the stereotype. The company thrives on a knit tight community that encourages progression through a positive environment. The sector is certainly challenging at times, but it helps to have supportive colleagues, and most importantly supportive management. From my experience, there is often distance between directors and staff which can cause communication conflicts. In contrast, Tim and Rebecca are constantly involved with everyone’s development at Projectus. They are always aiming to improve training and incentives to keep staff motivated. The directors work just as hard as the consultants on a daily basis, but the most significant aspect is that they care about their staff’s wellbeing on a personal level. This is reflected through the intense interview process which emphasises how a good group of people can make a great working environment. In addition, we have recently moved to a new office with a buzzing community. Everyday there are events such as yoga and meditation classes during lunch and food pop ups in the Atrium. After 5pm there is free beer, cider and Prosecco on tap which you can help yourself to. The new building only reinforces Projectus’ core values.
Svantaggi
The job can be quite challenging at times and my commute is quite long which is often exhausting. Although not quite a con, the company is still young so it is constantly changing and developing which is something to keep in mind of. There are times where we’re all still learning and it can occasionally be a work in progress. Thankfully the management is open minded and willing to listen and adapt to suggestions.
