      This is a wonderful opportunity if you're willing to put in the time and work hard. Yes, you're working inside of retailers such as Walmart and Krogers, but there is a bona fide reason-- how can you manage those in a position you haven't worked yourself? The personal growth can for many people be more of a benefit than the professional growth. It's cliche, but the more you put into it, the more you get of it.

      Depending on how you look it, time is the biggest negative. It's a 3-5 year program condensed to under a year, so you have to put in a lot of time now to reap the benefits

      -felt like I was learning a lot on the job -coworkers were pretty fun and cool to be around -morning atmosphere was energetic and contagious

      - constant travel -compensation hard to live off of, base pay with commission was always too low to start off because you're new to the job -regularly splitting money, either as a trainee working with your mentor, or as a mentor splitting with your trainee -shady interactions with boss involving travel costs, money, slow responses, inaccurate details -receiving paychecks was sometimes delayed and questionable -excessive time commitment inside and outside of job for long term growth
