There are simply no growth opportunities its junior & mid-senior employees, and this is purposely done by design. Managers are known to play the favorites game based on demographics and popularity, and expect employees to work around the clock for little pay and little to no acknowledgement.
In terms of compensation, the total compensation and bonus structure is fairly low compared to the size of the company and other companies in the industry.
I have also seen so many employees that were unfairly laid off due to the negative political nature of the firm. I have witnessed many senior leaders that have also bullied and poorly treated junior members of the team for no reason and even when HR was notified, they turned a blind eye and didn't do enough to solve the situation due to the senior leader's position, tenure, and overall performance within the firm. Situations like these cause teams to not be able to trust their own colleagues and more importantly, employees are unable to fully trust the leadership that is in place.
In addition, the WFH policy is abused by senior level managers. The WFH policy is vague on purpose and this has caused poor communication and confusion across teams. It seems as if some people can WFH whenever they please while some cannot, and there is no valid reason for how this works.
Besides all the reasons above, I left the company due to the hypocritical nature of the company's leadership. You can never fully trust anyone there and it's definitely a sink or swim kind of environment. The company prides itself for being "diverse", and yet there is definitely a cookie cutter mold of the typical "Prologis" employee. If you don't fit the mold, you will definitely be outcasted and will not receive the same opportunities as someone who fits the mold of the group.
