ELT and VP continue to show and prove they don't care about their employees. All previous reviews are spot on. -Employee survey over a year ago (two worst things were pay and belief that action will take place). Still both are ignored and no action. -Their Hired a Pay Analyst - quit and no pay has been adjusted for sales. Most top performers received 0 base increase while a couple seen a couple thousand at most. -We are all underpaid for the work. Management knows this and can't even help out because their hands are tied from ELT. - Close to a dozen sales reps SRs and SAMs have left this year and will continue to leave. - Our engineering team and support staff are spread thin with no help in sight. Since they are so backed up it takes days and weeks to get any results for the clients. -They suck the drive and life out of you and really just would prefer order takers to help with the AI platform and algorithm. -New comp structure is even worse than before. 0% pay out unless 80% or higher is achieved. 90% would not even get you to 50% of your bonus payout. If they had the back end and support set up for success they could hit quotas. It's next to impossible to hit or exceed targets in this continued stage of horrible leadership. -Our last VP was incompetent and this current one is proving to not be any better. -Employees that are good at their job who you would want on your team have either left , currently leaving , or just depleted from this toxic environment. I have yet talked to another sales rep who is not actively looking to make a better change. It's very sad because there are some good people here. -You would think that this type of offering could be good for people to come work here but I highly suggest otherwise.

Used to be great company with great culture and flexibility

New CEO Surresh has come in and completely destroyed the company culture that made Protolabs a great place to work at and was often awarded as such. Every meeting is coated in anxiety and the impending doom of layoffs despite record profits. In January a RTO was announced and there has been no flexibility and a straight up refusal to provide ADA accommodations to disabled employees by the HR department. They have taken away the flexibility that they used to provide to working parents that allowed them to work in office after/before their kids go to school despite not paying a living wage that would allow them to afford additional childcare. They have also chosen to make it even more difficult for employees to even receive a meets standards on their reviews as a cruel attempt to ensure they don’t have to give reasonable raises (which are rarely above 3% as is and they don’t provide market adjustments.) It’s unrecognizable from the company it used to be. They underpay, overwork, and expect the world of their employees while refusing to treat them with respect.
