Middle management staff LOVES their employees and are huge on mentorship. Good wfh policy (2 days in-office).

Upper management/owners are either OOO for extended periods of time or extremely busy and seem to have no understanding of day-to-day operations. Will lay off staff with little to no warning, including manager/director level staff. Middle management wants employees to succeed but are often overworked and do not have time to truly invest. Got "stuck" in my role despite multiple requests for more hours or investment in my career goals.
