Among just standard cons that come with modern-day office-type work: somewhat loosely-defined carrier opportunities without a clear path, but that's understandable for a fast-growing, just-recently-small company (plus it worked differently for different teams). After being acquired by a bigger player, the salaries became more stagnant, any bonuses (like an end-year bonus) disappeared.
