I have never worked for a company that lacked so much in integrity, ethics and respect. - Micromanagement occurs at all levels. District Managers are trained to micromanage their teams. I was told by my Regional to assume that when I walk into a property, to assume that everyone is lying, stealing or doing both so that I can dig into everything and catch their mistake. It is the worst possible way to engage, motivate and coach your team. - Lack of support for field team. Everything is escalated to the District Managers. From customer calls to IT issues to Facilities. - Monday through Friday does not exist as promised during the interviews. You are on call 24/7. I was harassed by text and email on the weekends upper management, for non-urgent issues. - Does not care for its people. Our CEO stated that we were puking cash as a company. Not too far away where property managers that are making minumum wage and have yet to receive their bonus that is several months overdue. -District Managers are held accountable for everything, even items outside of their control (like a new storage business opening near by with newer facilities and lower pricing but the pricing team would not lower pricing to be competitive as our facility is significantly older. DM would be held accountable for occupancy and revenue still.
