The role provides hands-on experience in data analytics, client engagement, and project management, helping to build strong resume credentials early on. Collaborative Analyst Team – The analysts are friendly, supportive, and great to work with, creating a positive team environment despite operational challenges. Flexible Work – Besides deadlines with fixed timelines, the nature of the work allows for great flexibility, especially on remote work days. Supportive Team Lead – My line manager genuinely advocated for my best interests, ensuring support and opportunities for growth.
Svantaggi
Culture of Overwork Without Fair Compensation – With new senior management, there has been a shift toward an American-style “exceeding expectations” culture, where analysts are subtly pressured to take on extra work without additional pay. If personal boundaries are not set, senior management will expect employees to overwork in hopes of a promotion that is not guaranteed and that offers minimal salary increases. Lack of Transparency in Hiring & Career Growth – Promotion processes are unclear, with advertised positions sometimes being retracted without explanation. Growth opportunities have diminished, as any promotion beyond the analyst level requires becoming a "Senior Media Analyst" first. This has created a bottleneck, where 20+ people often compete for just 1-2 promotions every 1-2 years. Despite raising these concerns, management has not provided a clear response or solution. Promotions have also previously been influenced by new clients signing on, which provides an unpredictable growth path and no certainty for advancement, regardless if you go "above and beyond" in your work. Operational Underinvestment & Resource Constraints – Financial constraints disproportionately affect operations teams, which remain understaffed and underpaid. Since COVID, there has been only one round of raises (~2.6%), yet the company continues to invest in high-profile events and executive dinners to maintain appearances, as one can see on LinkedIn. Even small perks, such as monthly office lunches, have been cut due to "budget reasons."
