1. Not process oriented. Every project reinvents the wheel 2. People related conflicts are not handled professionally. Typically it ends up with employee leaving the company voluntarily/forcefully. 3. Horrible work life balance. Old timers take pride saying everybody has to slog. What they need to understand it is not a sustainable model when a company grows beyond a size 4. Relationship is valued over data points especially during promotions cycle. If relationship is used to override data points it is favoritism and looses the original intention of relationship building. 5. Unrealistic project estimation and planning. Estimation are not reviewed by the delivery teams. No proper planning. 6. During performance management people who are exposed to client interaction are valued more than the delivery people. What management needs to understand these are two different kinds of job. Delivery job is not inferior to client management. 7. Most of the time openness is practiced without keeping in mind the employee self respect. Openness and feedback is much more effective when they are followed with due diligence to employee self respect. 8. Star performers are given so much of importance that other team members feel neglected. Star performers are not encouraged to perform long on the current level before they move to next level. What it produces an immature and arrogant star performer detrimental to team work.
