I manage the hiring process at Puraffinity, and when I close a company to work for I have to believe it is a great place to work. I chose to work here because the company has a great purpose and vision, we are looking to provide PFAS-safe water to 1 billion people by 2030 and through the interview process, I not only liked everyone I met but I could see an alignment to my values and commitment to DEEI. I am happy that I joined. There is an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is heard and everyone is working together towards our mission and vision. Working for a start-up isn't for everyone, all of us wear many hats and we are doing many things we have not done before. I love this but if you like an environment where there is plenty of structure and established processes, this might not be the environment for you. We are working on bringing in processes that support our growth but it does take time.
