      The team environment is great. Even though the gym industry can be very sales heavy you never feel under massive pressure to do any more than you can. This environment is great for people to perform and develop.

      The hours can be anti social, however that is the nature of the job.

      The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

      Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
