Recent merger has completely upended the company. Everyone knows that it was a bad business decision and employees are paying for it. - Layoffs that don't seem to end - Upper management actively wants separation from lower employees, and leaves them out of touch - Loads of middle management employees, none of which have any control over the situation. - The benefits are AWFUL. Insurance is expensive, and not that good. - They will sell you the job, yet their listings are misleading as to what the job will actually be. Advice for potential job seekers: The job itself is fine. The worst part is the instability. No one knows if they're going to walk in one day and be laid off. Your managers probably won't even know, and they certainly will not be able to do anything about it. It does not matter how good your job performance is. If the company is still around in a couple of years, maybe it'll have rounded out. But at the moment it's INCREDIBLY unstable.
