Vantaggi

PureSpectrum has many positives. It has an industry-leading product with excellent market fit, a strong and well-respected brand in the industry, and capable leadership. The overall work environment and culture are very positive, making it an enjoyable place to work.

Svantaggi

The primary drawback is compensation. Pay is not competitive, and there is little financial reward even for employees who significantly outperform their goals. Management is very sensitive about discussing salary, making it a difficult topic to address. This creates a confusing message, as the company spends lavishly on team events and client entertainment but claims it has a tight budget for employee pay. Ultimately, this issue is the main reason talented people consider leaving.

Vantaggi

After joining, I was nervous in a high performing and goal setting company it wouldn't work out, but it has actually brought the best out in me. I am continued to grow in my career here. The group of people that I work with each day really helps me see different perspectives on achieving sales goals and finding new ways to close deals.

Svantaggi

I know people who aren't happy or aren't with the company any more like to leave negative reviews, but being here a few years, every company has their things but it has been a good place to be.

Vantaggi

Most coworkers are really great people, helpful, and supportive. The benefits are also great.

Svantaggi

Leadership is horrendous. I can’t decide if I hope HR/the CEO doesn’t really know what’s going on or if that makes it even more upsetting that they don’t. Those in some of the highest respected roles have the worst leadership skills. Instead of addressing issues with their team, I witnessed ghosting when multiple requests for support were raised as well as lies being told to team members related to their performance. I heard first hand from a former client that complaints we were told this client reported never were brought up by them. Our speculation on why the company would lie is that it was a way of undermining the relationship the client had with certain team members. That motive is purely conjecture and is not confirmed fact. There also is a lot of coercion to complete “great place to work” surveys each year so that they can keep getting highly rated despite these major flaws. While it’s not mandatory to take these surveys, HR/leadership would hound you with emails and Slack notifications reminding you of the deadlines and asking for participation so they could win again. During my time at Purespectrum, there were several instances of very under handed behavior by the CEO’s “favourites”. These are the same people they put up at celebrity-level hotels and pay to have attend their very high end, annual client parties. Morally, they are not a company I would want to work for and I would encourage anyone with a strong sense of right and wrong to steer clear. Being a party to this hypocrisy will literally make you sick to your stomach.
