QA is a company who wants its pound of flesh. There is a big call centre mentality and your call minutes are monitored and timed (2 hours of actual speaking time is the aim of the day.) If you’re ill during probation then it will be docked from your wages. The Brighton office is like a morgue, the atmosphere is stifling. Leading by example is not the management style here. My manager constantly harassed staff while not making any sales calls or bringing in any business himself, and preferred to spend his time playing pool. At least 6 members of staff were sacked during my short spell of employment. A ruthless, vacuous company with a complicated commission structure which always rings alarm bells.
