Prior to joining, certain terms were discussed and verbally agreed upon. However, shortly after starting, the company reversed its stance, citing fairness concerns with other staff members. This inconsistency and failure to honor agreements created frustration and a lack of trust early on. The company claims to be open to change but doesn't actually follow through. They seem very set in their ways and unwilling to adapt, even when new ways of working are presented. There is a constant expectation to take on tasks outside of your job description, simply because "it's the norm." This often leads to frustration and burnout, as the workload becomes unsustainable. Office politics are prevalent, and there's a lack of trust between employees and management. Confidential information shared with colleagues is often leaked to management, creating an environment where you feel constantly under scrutiny. Management is very hands-on, hovering around employees and micromanaging even the smallest tasks. There’s no room for autonomy, and if you're a few minutes late or leave early, you’ll be reprimanded. The company enforces rigid working hours with no flexibility. Overtime is expected, but there is no reimbursement for the extra time worked, which further contributes to a poor work-life balance.
