Not a great culture - Recensione dipendente - Software Developer presso Quality Manufacturing Systems

QMSI has been one of the best work experiences I have obtained since I have been in college. The staff truly care for one another, and put forth real effort to complete tasks. I would strongly recommend this company to any level of engineers. As an intern I was exposed to hands on labor working with mills and hand tools. Plus I worked with design software along side other engineers. There are not enough companies like QMSI.

QMSIs has a poor location.

You will get some experience at QMSI, but you can get the same experience anywhere else for a lot less stress.

1- Extensive Travel Requirements: This position entails significant time on the road, with expectations of being away for over 30 weeks annually, which may pose challenges to work-life balance and personal commitments. 2- Leadership Deficiencies: There is a notable lack of effective leadership and managerial skills within the management team. 3- Challenging Work Environment: The company culture is often perceived as hostile and unsupportive, which can contribute to a demoralizing and stressful workplace atmosphere. Inquiries made in the chat rooms about various topics are often met with ridicule and derision, undermining a respectful and supportive learning environment. 4- Organizational Disarray and Lack of Support: The organizational structure is notably disorganized, complicating the learning process for new employees. 5- Financial Instability: The company is currently facing financial difficulties, raising concerns about job security and long-term viability. 6- The limited customer base we currently maintain is actively seeking alternative providers..
