Employees with prior work experience quickly realize it’s best to leave. As a result, some projects suffer from massive technical debt. A culture of presenteeism: The company enforces a blatant double standard. Employee tardiness is systematically criticized and held against them, but overtime hours are neither acknowledged nor compensated. We are told that this “is part of the mission.”
