This is a real AI-focused company, not just a consulting shop using AI as a buzzword. There’s a lot of care put into helping clients actually understand what AI and ML mean, what they’re good at, and how they can support real people doing real work. The team is smart and thoughtful, and as the company grows it’s bringing in more people who are curious and good to work with. The work itself is interesting and meaningful, and it feels like it genuinely matters to clients. The Chicago office has a strong, collaborative vibe, with people coming in around three days a week, which makes it easy to learn from each other and get things done.

Since Chicago is the HQ, that in-person culture is strongest there and may be harder to experience in other locations, though some of those are growing too. It’s also a young company, so there’s some uncertainty that comes with that stage, though it’s balanced by solid investment backing and leadership that seems focused on long-term growth.

Not a startup. It's a new consulting agency slinging the same old slop, now with AI slop. Leadership is clueless on how to lead and communicate with a team, making every step more difficult. Lacks diversity entirely and can't retain the women and POC they do hire. It is an uncomfortable work environment producing questionable results at best.
