Arrogant, dishonest and rude team leaders, total lack of respect for staff. Considering the nature of the business, it is staggering to witness just how bad communications are. Meetings/supervisions cancelled with no notice, no apology and no explanation . Management should be required to complete a similar barrage of daily forms that the support have to for each shift. Might make them more consistent and better organised. Promised training and further qualifications have failed to materialise. Don't believe their website and job interview claims. Staff turnover is very high; it'll only take you a few weeks working there to understand why. Relief staff are paid less than contracted staff despite them doing exactly the same job as, and covering for, contract staff when absent. Timesheets that you submit will be adjusted by team leaders before submitted for payment without any warning or explanation = less income than expected. So make sure you take copies. Disorganised and entirely unprofessional. Quarriers charge the people supported in excess of £20 an hour yet they pay staff doing the work a fraction of this. It is disgusting. The administrative support is dreadfully unreliable too. The amount of time you will be expected to work unpaid is ridiculous. Everything is designed to benefit Quarriers, never the staff. For those submitting monthly timesheets, be prepared to have those honest hours you spent in the office discussing work, completing documentation/paperwork, following the online compulsory courses etc denied payment. It's laughable. Office staff are on salary; lowly relief staff are only paid when on shift. Even the mandatory elements of the role - the core online courses you must follow - can be denied payment despite being a requirement of the job. The place is badly run and unwelcoming. Avoid this employer if you can.
