We work for lending tree so we have descent access to medical and 401K Paid time off is accumulated and we get all of the holidas off. We are offered o.t. at time and a half. We get paid for commission if we go over and beyond what is expected in transfers. We get $200 a month if we are in perfect attendance expectations. After taxes of course. It is better than working fast food.

We are a bait and switch company. I knew that only after a time in training. People try to call insurance companies to get a comparison rate. When people go on a website for a specific carrier we among others get their information and start calling. They don't even know who we are. We immediately tell them that we "work with all of the Major Insurance companies to get them a lower rate". That we shop around and by their information we connect them with an agent with a good rate. First lie. We connect them with whoever is available. We get paid by however minutes the customer stays on the phone with the agent. We don't shop around. The company is not concerned about the customer getting the best rate. Most of them get transferred to ALLSTATE. The highest rate ever. When an allstate agent or whoever isn't available we send them to solidquote. That is just another search engine and they try to get them transferred to someone. I don't even know what happens after that. People try to call Geico or a number of other companies and our number comes up. They say they are trying to call this specific company but we are told to say that we work with a network of carriers and maybe we can find something more affordable. Another lie. We are not shopping we are just trying to get them transferred to an agent who will spend 2 minutes on the phone and we get paid by that. Everything is a potential savings. Not guaranteed. The only reason I work there is because we don't ask for payment for a quote. We don't ask for a Credit Card we just transfer them and they make the decision. The company is making money off of this scam.
