Vantaggi

PTO is unlimited if you’re salary

Svantaggi

This place is a joy killer and will drain you. The promotion process is unfair. If you don’t fit into a certain category or look a certain way, there is no hope for you. Management is very cliquish. They literally had me train a person, who looks like them, then gave that person the position I showed interest in, all while making me think I had a chance. That wasn’t even done properly. I was told AFTER the decision was made but was never told that the process of filling the position had even begun. Talk about blindside. I wasn’t given the chance to apply. They just gave it to them. They had the audacity to blame it on work life balance which they claim to promote. Training is half assed but you’re expected to complete your work with minimal help. Don’t trust anything you’re told because they lie to your face with no remorse.

Vantaggi

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Svantaggi

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
