Due to the collective bargaining agreement, part-time employees are only required to work 24 hours per month, which can occasionally leave the team running with just you and one other staff member during certain shifts. While this setup is standard, it does highlight the importance of adaptability and teamwork. On the plus side, RAINN offers wellness resources that make a big difference. From the Employee Assistance Program, paid wellness days to telemedicine and mindfulness platforms like Headspace, the organization truly prioritizes staff well-being. Some staff just don't use it. These tools have been incredibly helpful in managing the stresses of the job and maintaining a positive work-life balance.
