My experience with Rationale was deeply disappointing. I joined expecting a professional environment with high standards and clear expectations. Instead I often felt singled out and subjected to a level of scrutiny that did not seem to be applied consistently. Over time it became difficult to shake the feeling that I was being judged more harshly than others for the same issues and expected to meet standards that were not enforced equally across the team. The role itself was enjoyable. I believed in the brand and genuinely enjoyed working with clients. The challenge was the culture I experienced around me. Feedback often felt focused on fault finding rather than development and I rarely felt supported to succeed. Concerns I raised did not leave me feeling heard and there was little effort to address the impact the situation was having on me. What I found most frustrating was the inconsistency. Expectations seemed to shift depending on the circumstances and I was frequently left feeling confused about where I stood. The experience gradually became more stressful than rewarding. I cannot speak for every employee's experience. I can only speak for my own. I left feeling that I had not been treated fairly and that decisions affecting me were not always made objectively. The products are excellent and the brand has earned its reputation. Unfortunately my experience did not reflect the same standard.

TOXIC ALERT. Management never holds employees accountable. Instead they are promoted, encouraged and rewarded. I cant wait to leave. They have a long and lengthy onboarding process which feels repetitive (which is probably also why they will not manage/fire toxic employees) all they care about is money and sales and as long as u do that- they will love you even if you are a problem maker. Cliquey and horrible place to work in. PLEASE do yourself a massive favour and dont work here.
